The truth of the matter...

_{I've been receiving notes as of late regarding the status of WDA and thought it only fair to give a proper update here for everyone to read.

Our group is full of vivacious and passionate people that are more than willing to volunteer their time to do the works needed by the non profits across the world, this we know.

The unfortunate circumstance is that the folks who joined together to manage this group and take the ideas from concept to completion have been derailed by a thing called life. I'm volunteering for dA in a completely different capacity than before as one of the Gallery Directors for Film and the other folks have other happenings that have kept them from continuing in the direction that this group was headed.

This happens a lot with groups and this task is especially hard for groups that have goals as ambitious as this one. I'd love to say that if someone is interested in taking over the account and kick starting this group again, to note me, but the truth is- I wouldn't even have the time to fill you in on what's what right at this moment. For sake of knowing, though, and in case there is a group of you who would like to pull together to see this project in working order, at least note me so that I can put you guys in touch with each other. (^FallenRox for notes, please)

My apologies for not getting this update to you sooner. There was discussion of the group being revived and I didn't want to post this until I felt it was the end of the road.

HUGE THANKS to those who showed their dedication and enthusiasm to this cause and it's good to know that there are so many willing to donate their time for a good cause.

Sad because, well, all the good intention has been blown up ... all the good people around with good intentions as you said have been waiting for finally have the chance to prove they were there ...

True because, hey, this is how life is! ... full of good ideas and intentions and ... changes. Yes, life goes on and we have to adapt to what comes and we have to decide about outr priorities because we are ony humans ... and not able to handle everything even if we sometimes wished we could. Experience talking, since I have dedicated my spare time to my :devenvironments: club and although I only have this one to do I sometimes feel guilty in not being more active

Take care my good friend (s) and I am still willing to be part of the cub but have myself no more spare time to dedicate myself for the admin stuff ...

A good chunk of my adolesence was lived on the internet, especially in communities such as dA, so it's no shocker to me.

I'm willing to volunteer still, but couldn't possibly be involved in the management of this.
